Hello Friends! It had been a wild, crazy 2020 - I am officially raising my hand that I am SO done with last year! Anyone else with me? May 2021 bring so much more joy, health, and prosperity to everyone, and of course, for the pandemic to be over. To be honest, 2020 was a hard year for me - California shut down pretty much all non-essential businesses, and this was right when the busy spring season typically starts for me. Which meant no wildflower sessions, no pretty spring greens, and of course, none of my wonderful clients :-(. But, thankfully things started easing up and I got to photograph so many wonderful families during the vibrancy of the summer, and the warm, golden light of fall! This is the third year I've done a favorites blog post (you can find 2019 here and 2018 here) and like those years, it's truly my favorite blog post to write as I get to see all my favorite photos and clients all in one place! From princess sessions to gorgeous family sessions on the beach, last year I got to photograph in so many gorgeous spots around our lovely county. As an Orange County family and child photographer, I truly believe I have the best job in the world - who else gets to capture all the gorgeous glowing moms to-be, sweet baby snuggles, family laughter, and little girls getting transformed into beautiful princesses? Thank you to all my wonderful clients for trusting me with your most treasured images - and I cannot wait to see what 2021 brings us! Without further ado, please grab a cup of coffee and enjoy this (slightly smaller) trip down 2020....and of course look out for these sweet family sessions as I'll be starting to post them shortly!
And yes, because it's 2020 and it was the year of the quarantine, masks, and social distancing....I had the most awesome family who wanted to make sure to incorporate all that craziness into one of their photos!
Thank you for enjoying some of my most favorite photos from last year. I am taking limited, socially distance sessions (I shoot with a long lens from 10-20 feet away from my clients), so if you'd like to chat about an Orange County family, child or princess photography session, please reach out and I would love to chat with you!
