Happy September friends! I can't wait for fall - only three more weeks! Then it's all the pumpkin spice we can handle.....plus finally cooler weather! I hope you are all staying cool in this late summer heatwave. Today I wanted to share such a fun extended family session. I first photographed this family and their two impossibly adorable boys last year and I couldn't believe not only how much the boys had grown but also how much cuter they had grown! Of course like last year, we had so much fun playing with sticks and running around in beautiful grassy fields. The main difference is this year grandma and grandpa came for photos too. Have a mentioned how much I LOVE extended family sessions? Not only does it give your kids a multi-generation photo, it gives their grandparents the opportunity spend more time with their family. Because of the amount of rain we had gotten this past winter, we are fortunate that our grasses stayed green all the way into summer! I love how it contrasted to the blues in their clothes (which mom perfectly coordinated). On the day of our session we couldn't have asked for better weather - warm, with a breeze and absolutely glorious light! This is one of my most favorite spots to photograph in, as there is such a variety all in one area! Grass, woods, a lake - it's like photography nirvana. As an Orange County Family Photographer nothing makes me happier than these glorious locations! Please enjoy this peek into the sweet S family!
Like last year, the boys requested another fun Star Wars photo, so they had fun playing with sticks and I changed them into lightsabers for the boys! As an Orange County Child Photographer, I loved being able to create a creative image for them!
