Hello Friends! Though we all live in this wonderful area called Orange County, many of us don't have the chance to explore all the variety of location we have. As an Orange County Family and Child Photographer, I have the very fun job of doing that for you! I love exploring all the nooks and crannies of our county.
The Beach
Of course the first location is our beaches, which is the quintessential OC location. Our beaches have a wonderful glow, and amazing sunsets. The colors are flattering to all skin types, and the gentle breezes give amazing movement to hair and clothes.
Grassy Field
The next type of location which can be found throughout the county is a grassy field, either open or surrounded by trees. This can lend a dreamy, ethereal quality to your photos that looks amazing with dressier outfits.
Desert-scape
Next, we have a desert-scape. You don't need to go all the way out to Palm Springs for this type of setting! Bold, bright colors or pastels look best in this type of environment and the lighting is just amazing and so flattering!
Forest
Next, we have a forest type setting. This is a perfect spot for more casual outfits, or an enchanted forest type princess shoot. The light is always soft and filtered here, making it an ideal spot for those who are unable to have their session during the golden hour of the evening.
Of course, there are the many, many regional and other parks that are scattered throughout the OC. They are all varied but are all amazing! If you like nature photos, chances are there is one close to wear you live!
Finally, during the spring, nature puts on it's finest show of wildflowers! These amazing blooms only come around for a few weeks but are well worth taking pictures in! Most of the year we are pretty dry around here and these locations look like you are in a completely different area!
Now that you've seen the incredible variety of locations, can you see why being an Orange County family photographer is so amazing and fun? There is truly never a shortage of places to take pictures in. If you would like to book your own session at any of these types of locations, please contact me here!
